Kernel H is my musical alter ego: a project created to turn the computer world into songs.
There are terminals, networks, servers, nights in front of a console, errors that become rhythm, small sysadmin dramas and that strange kind of poetry that sometimes appears in logs, cables, firewalls and virtual machines.
It is not a music project separated from my technical side. It comes from the same world of infrastructure, debugging, networks, automation and systems that I write about on this website, but moved into a more narrative and musical space.
The idea
Kernel H tries to describe computing not only as work, but also as an imagination.
Some songs start from very concrete situations: a network going down, a server to bring back online, a call to the sysadmin at the worst possible moment, a night spent figuring out why something no longer responds. Others use computing as a symbolic language: the kernel, the wires, digital noise, connection, the machine and the person watching it.
The point is not to make cold or didactic music “about technology”. I am more interested in taking words, gestures and landscapes from the computing world and turning them into emotional material.
Sound and style
The sound of Kernel H moves between electronic pop, synth, night-time atmosphere and references to digital culture.
The goal is to build accessible songs with a recognizable identity: music that can speak to people who live with technology every day, but also to those who simply feel its aesthetic made of screens, signals, circuits and connections.

Why Kernel H
The name plays with the idea of the kernel as the core: the central, hidden part that is not always visible but keeps the system together.
The H recalls my online identity and connects this musical project with the rest of my creative and technical work. Kernel H is not meant to replace Hangelot, but to stand beside it: another output of the same system.

Project status
Kernel H is an ongoing project.
The first step was publishing the songs and shaping a recognizable identity. The next step is to collect everything in a more organized way: official links, covers, videos, lyrics, platforms and a stable page to start from.
This page exists for that reason: to give Kernel H a home inside hangelot.eu, next to the other projects, but with a more creative voice.
